I believe the prettiest homes are the ones that feel personal.
Hi, I’m Ally.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in residential interiors, and I’ve always loved the details that make a home feel special — a beautiful room, an old piece of furniture with a story, fresh hydrangeas on the table, a perfectly placed lamp, family china mixed with something new.
But I also live in the real world.
There are kids, dogs, laundry, backpacks, schedules, busy mornings and rooms that sometimes stop working the way they once did.
That’s exactly why I started Pretty Well Placed.
I wanted to bring together two things that are often treated separately: beautiful design and practical everyday living.
I don’t believe you need a perfect home.
I believe you need a home that feels like you —
welcoming, collected, functional and beautiful enough that you genuinely enjoy being there.
Sometimes that means reorganizing an entire room.
Sometimes it means moving the sofa six inches, taking a few things away and finally finding the right lamp.
And sometimes you just need someone to walk through your door and say:
“I know exactly what we can do here.”
That’s my favorite part.
